At the Menen Centre you are working with a team of (intelligent, talented, and humourous!) health care practitioners who love to work in conjunction with other health care professionals (Medical Doctors, Nurses, Occupational and Physical Therapists, Social Workers, Massage Therapists, Psychologists, Chiropractors, Osteopaths, and the list goes on...!) to provide for the best possible health care for all of our patients. In this website we will help you understand what Complementary/Naturopathic Medicine is all about and the many ways it may benefit your life. We will offer our opinions/suggestions for anyone who is interested in health and wellness. Whether you have a medical diagnosis or whether you are experiencing one of the common symptoms that precede a diagnosis (e.g. fatigue), you are likely to learn some useful information here. What is the difference between our Toronto and Oakville clinics?
Our Toronto clinic consists of 3 Naturopathic Doctors working with both acute and chronic conditions.
At our Oakville clinic, we have a team of practitioners that works with both acute and chronic health conditions (everything from treating colds/coughs, sprains/strains, heart disease, diabetes, depression, anxiety, insomnia, hormonal imbalances and many more). At this clinic our entire team of therapists is also uniquely aware of the needs of cancer patients. As such, we can help people through either prevention of this disease (always the best!) or with the management of a symptom or the condition itself. Would you like some help in learning what kinds of Complementary health care choices are safe and effective for you to use for your cancer care or prevention? The choices available for patients are astounding. But what is SAFE to use with various other medications or supplements or even chemotherapy? Perhaps more importantly, what is contraindicated to use with certain medications, chemotherapy, radiation or biological conventional treatments?
Here, a team of health care professionals combine the art and science of integrative medicine to enhance your health care experience. Using research-based suggestions, encouraging communication with your medical providers, and always listening to your own insight or concerns, we want you to know that we are truly dedicated to your needs.
